Visiting the site

The site uses no cookies, neither ours nor anyone else's: you can read it without leaving any data. The only form is “Notify me”, explained below. Like every website, for security reasons the server briefly records technical data about visits, such as the IP address and the page requested.

The site is hosted by EV Network S.r.l., via Emilio Salgari 14/e, 31056 Roncade (TV), VAT no. 04417370261, which processes this data only on our behalf and according to our instructions, as data processor (Article 28 of the GDPR), on servers in data centres in the European Union.

To know how many people visit the pages we use Umami, a statistics tool that uses no cookies and does not recognise visitors: it only counts visits, anonymously.

Phone, WhatsApp and email

If you call us or write to us to book, we use your name and number only to reply to you and to set aside the salumi you've booked. We don't use them for advertising and we don't pass them on to anyone. WhatsApp messages go through Meta's service, under its own privacy rules.

Notices when a salume is back

If you leave your name and mobile number with “Notify me” on a salume's page, we use them only to send you a message when that salume is back. We do so because you ask us to (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR): we don't use them for advertising and we don't pass them on to anyone.

We write the message ourselves, on WhatsApp, from the shop's phone. We delete your name and number 7 days after notifying you, and in any case after 12 months if the salume doesn't come back. If you change your mind, call us or write to us and we'll take you off the list straight away.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the data concerning you, by writing to michelmiatto@gmail.com. If you think your data is being handled improperly you can contact the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).

Staff area

The panel we use to update which salumi are available is reserved for the shop: there, and only there, the site uses a technical cookie to keep you signed in.
